Well Judges,
Have you heard about the Prada and Schiaparelli impossible conversations exhibition about to open at the New York Met?. If not, here is a little surmise of what to see…. two of the best creative minds in one space with work spanning from the 20 th century to current day. The narrative that surrounds the beautiful clothing from both of fashion’s power couple, one past and one so current her Prada mainline and Miu Miu collection are on every A lister at the moment ,and Schiaparelli is seeing a resurgance of her collections going onto the red carpet where they belong.
Although Schiaparelli is a name that fell out of favour in the 40’s after Dior took her place with his ‘new look’ . If the embodiment of Schiaparelli’s style were ever more obvious it is in the ethos behind Prada and her design, and is similar in style to that of this remarkable woman. Prada has a new buzz about the label and with this reinforced vigour comes a special capsule collection for both men and women in two separate styles.
The collection is titled ‘Parallel universe’ and is the 1st transversal men’s and women’s. The individual mens collection is called ‘teddy’ and for you ladies ‘dixie’ .
The ‘Teddy sunglass’ collection is supposed to be golf meets 50’s Miami and has a unique look to an aviator style with a single bridge bar that wraps around the lenses . The look is stunning and adds a new dimension to a staple favourite sunglasses style for men.
The ‘Dixie sunglass’ collection is nothing short of genius based on Cadillac’s and Americana ,the style is cat’s eye with a superb Prada high style finish colourful, chrome and even available with mirrored lenses. Girl’s with this collection all I can say is how lucky you are to have these coming very soon. These are arriving as we speak, so we should have delivery very soon. Stocks will be lim ited, so reserve your
Prada dixie sunglass collection and
Prada teddy sunglass collection now!
I can’t wait to see the pictures from the exhibition and i cannot wait to see my first real person in the sunglasses from these special collections.
So Judges’, of late I have been immersed in Lots of fun things…. a couple of local exhibitions, watching some great war TV and the final episodes of Spartacus… goodness me ,those Gladiators could of done with some high performance sunglasses with all that sun.
Well for now Judges I will say see you later and keep ‘em peeled and remember that

Hello Judges,
Well what a weekend in the world of fashion it has been. Dior continues to intrigue the world of fashion with Raf Simons upcoming couture show headlining the shows in July. Either way I predict that the show itself will dominate this season with his vision of how couture should be.. Hopefully with his usual quirks and use of colour injecting a new look for Dior again.
Like the
‘Les Marquis collection’ of sunglasses adding a new look to the faces of many fashion conscious ladies. Alternatively, ladies and gents give the new luxury label with strong Italian roots a chance to grace our faces ….
Bottega Veneta sunglasses .
Other fashion news appears to be the ongoing debate for men’s trends. Do we go sports tastic for the Olympics wearing the likes of
Tag Heur sunglasses with their exclusive high grade lenses ideal for all different activities including funnily enough driving with there low light night lenses…… or pack a punch with
Prada Linea Rossa sunglasses. Altenatively do we continue to rock the American prep trend and complete the look with Johnny Depp’s and Robert Downey Jnr favourite label
Oliver Peoples sunglasses or
Paul Smith sunglasses for the ultimate in cool.
Well, last weekend I celebrated my birthday with my friends with a few drinks and too much cake. Some quality tracks from the years and too much wrapping paper strewn over the floor on Sunday morning. One of my friends discovered my latest find that will be coming to the site very soon! So keep em peeled for a few new labels one well known making a welcome return and another new to me but the style is too cool for Skool !.
I have to say Sunday appeared to be like travelling back to early January with the Wind, Rain and of course the freezing temperature. So with nothing else to do I went over to the cinema to watch my first Polish film, not only a first but with a reactive gentleman with a colourful imagination and even more colourful use of the English Language whenever there was an explosion made for a second first. A film of serious content becoming the most hilarious thing to happen in a long time …Roll on when i get to tell a couple of my friends about this. Totally surreal….a Polish war film about espionage and a guy in the audience with Tourettes!
If you like this blog ,keep up to date with photos, news and promotions on our facebook page …send optics (2 separate words) . ‘Like’ us and be informed all about new product launches, flash sales and competitions to win great sunglasses! Remember, sendoptics.com is the home for
discounted designer sunglasses .
So until next time When i will be telling you some more interesting fashion titbit’s.
Keep ‘em, peeled ,

Hello Judges’,
Well what a miserable week last week this is turning out to be, with all the rain, grey clouds and bloody cold weather ! Here at the opticians I have been busy of late and had a few surprise pairs of sunglasses come in late so that has meant our excellent photographer having to click even more shots off. I am currently sat here with the heating on and looking out of my office window over a struggling sunny sky dotted with even more grey clouds. The weathermen are predicting a rainy May… I don’t want to get out my umbrella anymore or my raincoat. I and no doubt you do not want to be wearing our winter wardrobe when only weeks ago we wearing our summer outfits.
So the other week saw the announcement of 100 day countdown to the Olympics which provoked a conversation in the Opticians with a couple of my staff and customers that did set us about laughing. First the opening ceremony will be presented by Chas and Dave or Ant and Dec…. The more controversial option maybe Simon Cowell and Danni Minogue ( for the mixed relay we won’t ask how they will pass the baton without dropping it)
Then next came to the actual games that would be played, egg and spoon race, sack race which quickly became the grab a handbag and peg it over 400m away, the hopscotch marathon, the bitch slap for a kebab , shooting would be done after 20 shots of vodka and on a high street at midnight (probably in my home town of Nottingham!) Sailing would be pedalo’s on Skegness. Weight lifting would become the keg roll. In all we went through rather a lot of stupid ideas for what the world thinks of us British.
The Olympics are going to be a real chance for us to shatter these rather ‘off ‘preconceptions and show that team GB means business and bring home the gold. Going off track from the fun the Olympics are a chance for us to prove how great a sport nation we are with some of the best sport personalities competing on our turf. Particularly I am looking forward to seeing Stella McCartney’s creations in motion and see them on the podiums. I wonder if they will be wearing the Stella McCartney sunglasses ?
Oakley and Tag heur have been busy of late with being sported by the extremes and tag being sported by none other than our own Jenson Button. Look at our site for all oakley sunglasses and tag heuer sunglasses .
This is a winning year for us all and we will continue to strive for gold for you at Sendoptics
Keep smiling Judges’, and let’s will the sun to shine on us again.
Remember that www.sendoptics.com is the home of discounted designer sunglasses.
Keep ‘em peeled,

Good day Judges,
Well what a great day yesterday was… the sun was shining, people seemed to be relieved with the rays being back in force. Smiles and sunglasses always makes me happy. So what have you Judges’ been upto of late ?. Lot’s no doubt….. remember, i do love to hear from you ,and I am putting together a monthly newsletter that will be written in the same format as this blog. It will be to inform you all about sunglasses and fashion, so if any of you Judges’ would like to receive this please pass on your email address through the ‘contact us’ form.
I do love to hear what you Judges think about our collections, and comments about the site. If there are any improvements you think we can still undertake, please contact us , as wwww.sendoptics.com is the home of
discounted designer sunglasses; but I hope like myself, after all this hard work to make the site what it is today, you are inspired ,and also like the new collections. I know a lot of you do with regard to what you have been buying
Miu Miu sunglasses are still a firm favourite.
The fashion press at the moment are still celebrating the news of Raf Simons creative director at Dior. The man known for minimalism going to head a House known for opulence, and over the grandeur thanks to John Galliano. I will certainly like many be pleased to see Rafs first collection and see how his influence will be interpreted by the big House and see what new vision he brings.
On my recent trip down to London on the streets I was not surprised to see the wonderful usual diverse mix of looks that London sports on the streets. Many of the crowd looking like they had stepped out from a magazine or in some case a 40’s film cast. In Soho, there certainly seemed to be no end to creative expression on the streets and the way some choose to interpret the trends fascinates me. A couple that stood out for me were a Lady in her 40’s who seemed so comfortable in her own skin ….and what skin! She looked like a young Elizabeth Taylor and seemed a little bit of fashion magpie in seamed stockings a cool up do and stiletto’s that were like stilts.A bag that looked like it could hold a small child as well as all its paraphernalia. To top the look she had on one of the new Miu Miu cameo’s and a pair of red
Miu Miu carte noire sunglasses.
A young man who looked like he had stepped out of an edgy band with his full sleeve tattoo, braces, Comme des Garcon play blue polo shirt, skinny chino’s rolled to reveal blue socks and Paul Smith slouch shoes .His hair was quaffed to an inch of his life and his outfit was complete with
Paul Smith Cochrane brown sunglasses, I was informed that his look was an upmarket petrol head ( i asked nothing further as I have no clue as to what a petrol head is)
In London the Miu Miu store was a breath of fresh bright airy and bright to say the least as usual the assistants oozed the glamour and looked as if they were really dressed for a meeting with vogue, prints and colours clashed and music was on lightly in the background. The
Miu Miu sunglasses collection has new pieces coming in around a months time and i will be adding these when we receive them i do promise you that. They are the
Miu Miu Culte sunglass collection, so if you would like to reserve them now…you know which ones these are!!….email me and I will put you on the top of the list. The usual discount will apply to these as well , my lovelys!…See, I spoil you all rotten!
So what sights have you been Judging whilst out and about let me know I do love to people watch
So for now my wonderful Judges I am off for a G ‘n’t T to finish the day and watch the news then grab an early night.
You stay safe and keep em peeled
The Judge.

Hello and welcome,
Well It’s been a funny old week don’t you think ? We had the bank holiday giving us all a short week, but I don’t know about you this week has been a little difficult to get motivated. The sun seems to have dissapeared from the UK’s Skies of late and I am feeling a little sad…. that was not our summer those couple of weeks ago surely!
I went down to London at the tail end of the week for two days to get a bit of rest and of course have a look to what the fashion crew are wearing down south. I also went to the Damien Hurst exhibition at the Tate modern I would love to say it was brilliant and mind altering, but alas i left thinking some of it was good but the rest I just did not get….. After the experience there was only one cure for this confusion and that was to get back to what i knew….
Bond street and Selfridges were calling. So after trawling the beauty aisles for a new scent I headed for a coffee and a cake….come on enough already I needed a cake after the experience. Next i headed over to the Sunglasses section and had an experience that cheered me up no end. A very attractive fashionista in a denim skirt, nude blouse covered in floral jewels amid crystals looking a bit like an extra from a studio 54 party or a rhinestone cowgirl. The lady in question was cooing at the latest
Swarvoski sunglasses colllection .Like a princess at a ball, she was having the time of her life, and after only minutes settled on the
Alanis model 15 Swarvoski in transparent blue. I ,like her ,left with a smile, and on to the other labels… I was pelased to see the majority of labels we had and were more competive with our pricing. I for once was very good and only left with a pack of Krispy creme dounghuts !
For now my Judges I am going to leave you to your day. Take care and let’s hope the sunshines after the rain again soon.
We have a couple of labels coming to the site very soon
So keep em peeled
Keep ‘em peeled,
The Judge.

Hello Judges,
How the devil are you on this fine day, all good I hope !
Well here at the optician’s I have to say we are maxed out on Sunglasses .For once we have taken full delivery of all this years stock and are pleased with the results. For yet another year looking back to what I ordered late last year it appears the Judge’s eye was right with the choices. A fellow Optician is reporting slow sales and is wishing he had got on the
Bottega Veneta sunglass wagon before it left last year. You Judges seem to know what you like on the website …we are having a flurry of orders coming through from Europe and London for
Balenciaga sunglasses and
Bottega Veneta sunglasses …..the fashion capital knows it’s stuff.
Paul smith seems to hold no boundaries when it comes to his massive empire. Recently Paul Smith announced and launched his collaboration with British Surf label Swami, not only that but his store in the big apple on 5th avenue celebrated it’s 25th birthday. Seems the U.S. still have an affinity for us Brit’s and our style.
Most recently though Sir Paul celebrated another coupe with the opening of his store in Amsterdam. Holland appears to love us all too. Paul Smith’s S/S12 latest menswear collection incorporates Psychadelic prints with traditional tailored twists the collection is a man’s dream and with the latest
Paul smith sunglasses collection remaining transparent or in strong neutral or monochromes there is no chance these will take away from this vibrant style only compliment it.
Nottingham born Paul Smith not only still loves his home town but does various collaborations with the local council including branding and design of product for their visitors. I love
Paul Smith Eye wear and have several pairs of sunglasses and prescription ophthalmics.
I am off to don my stripey scarf and close up for the day, so Judges keep ‘em peeled !
Stay safe and look out for another blog in a day or two
Keep ‘em peeled,

Dsquared sunglasses who have launched the most stunning collection of eyecatching or migraine inducing Fluro frames.
More of a statement namely to brighten up any outfit instantly.
The Adverts for this colection are a summer camp vibe or festival of young fashionistas in what can only be described as semi nude fashion, well it is a Summer ad campaign and they do look pleasing on the eye( as do the Sunglasses)
I introduced Dsquared2 to both the optician’s and Sendoptics late last year and have been pleased to note that people know a lot more about this label than I anticipated. You Judges are so stylish aren’t you.
Dsquared2 sunglasses are classicly shaped and have a high quality finish in various different shades. The frame styles of
Dsquared Eyewear is that broadly speaking there is a shape to suit all and with colours now ranging from browns, blacks and now with the introduction of the fluro collection you too can create a statement or turn heads. The sunglasses are NOT available until MAY, and we are already taking pre-orders for this new range of neon sunglasses. Hello , and I hope you have had a pleasant Easter My fellow Judges,
All the foil wrappers and the remnants of the chocolate overload all disposed of I hope. I am currently writing this on the sofa with the grey clouds scudding outside. At least the birds are a little quieter at 4 am ! So what is new with you Judges’ ? Did you get out and about like many of the Brit’s who took to the motorways and sky over the break? If so, I do hope you had a great time wherever you went.
I am not sure if any of you read the Saturday Telegraph on 07/04/12 , they had the most intense cover shot from behind the scenes with the Italian Duo Dolce & Gabbana. The majority of the article is illustrated with their forth coming A/W12 collection which is a Sicilian take on the Baroque trend that is emerging a strong contender for A/W12.
This look is perfect for the explosive Duo and shows there strengths with strong shapes in flattering feminine shapes, with heavy gilded style patterns, lashings of lace, heavy needlepoint inspired floral shocks amongst a heavy background of black and cream. The collection is one of the strongest in many a year and nods back to Dolce & Gabbana’s show stopping collection in ‘92 La Dolce Vita which is one of the collections that is responsible for hurtling the Duo to the forefront of feminine glamour and dramatic dressing.
Alongside this collection the current trend for lace is inspired by period drama’s, a sense of more opulent times and of course the ultra feminine look that is seeing a surge on the high street.
We do have a limited stock of the exquisite
Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses from last season that will dress up any outfit to bring it to the height of style. The sunglasses are a large frame in various colours and have been made using a special technique of laser cut lace then impregnated into an acetate to make what can only be described as a stylish contradiction. Technology versus tradition, Judges all i can say is if it’s a purchase for yourself or a loved one the
Dolce & Gabbana designer sunglasses collection will have you looking on top form in the style stakes.
For now Judges I am off to run a bath and catch up with some ancient aliens ( my new addiction )
Ciao for now

Well Judges,
What a great Easter present Dior has given to the world. Hot off the press we would like to pass onto our fellow Judges’ the following exciting news….
Looks like the news has broken onto every fashion blog or magazine facebook page around the globe. Raf Simons has been appointed the creative director of the house of Dior. Last month Dior dismissed this news though with the excellent job the Simons did at the ailing Jil Sander it comes as no surprise he has been given the role at one of fashions most influential design houses. The future looks bright for the House of Dior. The house is back in safe hands after a few tempestuous months.
I would like to wish him well and look forward to the coming months and his first collection. We will keep you informed of any news we find.
Keep ‘em peeled,
